B018 A Resolution For Reconciliation and Engagement in the Holy Land
When dealing with complicated issues of international conflict the Episcopal Church should start with the principle, “first do no harm.” While our deep concern for the Palestinian people, especially our Palestinian brothers and sisters, can lead us to want to take forceful and dramatic steps to work on behalf of justice, any action we take must be informed by a true and deep understanding of the region and tempered by love of all people, not only our fellow Christians. The Episcopal Church much remain faithful and committed to a deeply Christian approach, one firmly grounded in hope, reconciliation and engagement with everyone.
