h. Preparation for ordination shall include training regarding

3. the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church, particularly Title IV thereof, utilizing, but not limited to use of, the Title IV training website of The Episcopal Church.
4. the Church’s teaching on racism
Explanation
As noted in the Blue Book Report of the Standing Commission on Structure, Governance, Constitution and Canons, significant resources and efforts have been made to create an excellent and thorough web-based training resource to educate the whole of The Episcopal Church regarding Title IV and its implementation. It is, therefore, a good stewardship of our collective resources for candidates in all dioceses to use this resource rather than creating their own. Additionally, universal implementation across The Episcopal Church ensures that everyone is working from the same knowledge base with regards to the use of Title IV, which is particularly important given the increased mobility of clergy over the course of their careers.
