A188 Amend HOD Rules of Order II

Resolved, the House of Deputies amends House of Deputies Rules of Order by inserting the following section at the end of Rule II:

(F) Memorial Roll

  1. The Secretary will prepare a Memorial Roll of all previous Deputies who have died since the last meeting of the House or who have not otherwise been remembered at a meeting of the House.
  2. At each General Convention, time will be set aside to read aloud the names on the Memorial Roll and for prayers by the Chaplain.

Explanation

Provisions for a memorial roll were inadvertently omitted to the revisions of the Rules of Order. This Resolution adds that provision back under the new format.
