Resolved, That the House of Bishops of the 79th General Convention recognize George McGonigle who served General Convention and the Diocese of Texas, our host diocese, well and faithfully as a deputy at eight Conventions; and be it further

Resolved, That we give thanks for his work as chair of the Committee on Ministry of General Convention and his leadership during difficult times; and be it further

Resolved, That we express our appreciation for this ministry of George McGonigle and pray for our Lord Jesus Christ to continue to pour his blessings upon our brother in Christ.
